The Motorola One Pro has appeared in several leaks, and now we get a few more details. It looks like this phone might actually be launched as Motorola One Zoom, indicating the Moto will really push the camera angle. That is not always surprising because there are four, and we now have a better idea of what they will do.
According to WinFuture, the Motorola One Zoom will have a 48MP main sensor. Similar to OnePlus 7 Pro, it will combine four pixels into one to increase brightness and color. So, the picture taken by One Zoom will be 12MP. One sensor will be a wide angle with a field of view of 117 degrees. Motorola allegedly plans to market this as “Action Cam.”
There will be telephoto lenses, of course; that’s where the phone gets its name. Motorola will label this as a “hybrid hybrid” 5x. The actual hardware will be able to zoom 2x or 3x, but the phone will use other camera sensors to add more data to the 5x magnified image. The last sensor on this phone will be a 5MP depth sensor to enhance portrait mode shooting.
We expect the Motorola One Zoom to appear at IFA in a few weeks. WinFuture says the price will be around € 429 ($ 481), but that is only for one variant. Maybe there are cheaper entry-level models too.
